California missions report, 1820 Feb. 22.

Report signed by the Padre Presidente of the California missions. Handwritten text with four columns of data containing the names of each mission, missionary, year service began, and room for notes for the year ending Dec. 31, 1819. Nineteen California missions are listed, plus La Asistiencia de San Rafael, with a total of 34 missionaries, as some have two. Followed by three lengthy "Notas" discussing the missions and ministering to the Indians, the "gente de Rozon." Signed by Fray Mariano Payeras, Mision de la Purisima (Feb. 22, 1820). Notable missionaries listed include Gerónimo Boscana, José Señan, Antonio Ripoll, Estevan Tapis, and others.
